My boys watching Football

Tonight Matthew and I went to dinner with the spouses from Jay's flight and when we came home Jay and Matthew had some bonding time watching football. Now for those of you who have been to our house, you know that we still watch TV on the 25 inch television my parents bought me while I was at the Academy. You would think that with the switch to digital we would have purchased a new television (preferably a 40 inch flat screen...hint! hint!), but nooooooo...if anything is going to change Jay's mind, I'm hoping its watching his beloved Broncos on an itty bitty screen...maybe there is hope yet before football season is over (o: A girl can dream...Aren't my men adorable?!

En Fuego 2009

On Saturday we decided to go to "En Fuego 2009" in Verbena, Alabama. En Fuego is a one day Christian festival that is attended by over 20,000 people for the sole purpose of praising God! It was an awesome experience to see so many people in one place who love the Lord (o: We wanted to see the group Superchick perform and it was well worth the drive. Many people have called En Fuego the Christian Woodstock of our Generation with all of the different performances by various Christian artists.

Hailey had a great time...especially when she was in the pack on Jay's back!

A majority of the people at En Fuego were high school and junior high kids so needless to say it was quite an interesting experience

Little man is getting so big...he is started to smile so much and growing like a weed! These were taken today (August 29th)

Hailey's 1st day of gymnastics

I can't believe our little girl is old enough to start taking gymnastics classes...she started on Thursday and and LOVED it!! This is right up her alley...and mine too! We have finally found something for Hailey to do where she is exhausted after class is over (o: She takes gymnastics classes twice a week for 45 minutes in Montgomery

They do a song as class starts before they "warm up"...it is so cute watching 2 year olds trying to stretch!

I couldn't find any leotards so my mom sent these to Hailey...don't you love her cheesy smile (o:

Hi everyone! I went to the doctor today for my 2 week check-up and I gained a whole pound since I was born! I have also grown 1 1/2 inches (o: I love to sleep and play with my big sister...and I LOVE to snuggle with my mommy and daddy!!
